Directions to Peace River Park

IMC-Agrico] Peace River Park is a 400 acre riverside preserve located on the Peace River six miles south of Bartow on SR 17 east of the Homeland flashing traffic light (CR640). There are picnic facilities, bathrooms, and a one mile boardwalk into the Peace River swamp. Look for wintering sparrows in the fields and during migration seasons, check for warblers. Short-tailed Hawks may nest here. This is a year-round site but the Fall season (August-Oct) is best. For best results, walk the edge trail north along the tree line.

There is no entrance fee.

We will meet at the boardwalk at 8:30AM.
